"Collective Flats"
In the course of the "housing aryanization", Jews were forced to move into "collective flats", which they had to share with other Jewish families. Many of these collective flats were located in Leopoldstadt, Alsergrund and the Inner District of Vienna. Lore Segal describes the delogations:
"[...] All Jewish neighbours were supposed to bring their furniture to this three-room flat[...] Our flat looked like a junk shop."[1]
